Aufstellung des Mikros

Hallo,
ich habe vielleicht eine blöde Frage:
Ich habe das Großmembranmikro Samson C01U, funktioniert auch prima. Jetzt frage ich mich, wie ich mich richtig vor dem Mikro aufbaue. Die Richtcharaktristik ist Hyper-Cardioid, also alles was senkrecht von vorne kommt, wird hauptsächlich aufgenommen, oder? Nur was ist vorne?    Dieses Mikro ist ja ein Kondensatormikro und ich vermute, dass diese Kondensatorscheibe aufrecht verbaut ist. Danach vermute ich, dass ich das Mikro aufrecht hinstellen soll und sozusagen auf die Vorderseite \"draufsinge\", da wo die LED leuchtet.
Die Anleitung ist hier nicht sehr erhellend und ich habe keine Erfahrung mit Mikros. Liege ich richtig?

When you make a video with your photocamara and you want a good audio sound here\'s what I do. I put the microphone next the camara so you can\'t see it on the movie.
Because the camara and the microphone are on the same distance from you, the sounds fits with the movie. If you use close miking than it\'s not natural. Another tip I use is before you play: clap one time in your hands. When you are going to make the video on your computer then it\'s easy to make sure that the \"new\" audio is synchroon to the video.
