Hi,
I must ask this question in English, my German is not so good....
I run a Ukulele Workshop/Class in Colwyn Bay, Wales. A lady has come to class with a Banjo Ukulele marked:
Original Weltton Germany, it is beautiful, good looking, nice sound, well made.
I want to know more about the manufacturer and approximate date?
Danke :P
This german man from this website is an absolutely banjo expert :

A Picture would be helpful.
\"WELTTON\" seems to me a former DDR (German Democratic Republic) Name. Probably built in Thüringen / Klingenthal.
Unter Welltone findet sich ein Mandolinen-Banjo:

Auf dem Label steht: Original Weltton Germany

Very interressant! The Label is
not \"Made in
West Germany\".
The plate covering the stringholder is the same, like on the Banjos i saw in \"DDR\". The pot and resonator are similar to the Klingenthal- banjo\'s i owned.
I\'m searching for pictures.

This is not the model, you are looking for. But maybe made from the same Company. It is made in Klingenthal / Thüringen /\"DDR\".

Na also, geht doch.
Gottseidank baut Windows keine Flugzeuge - so viele Abstürze.....
Danke zu alles.
I can now say that the instrument was made in Klingenthal DDR between 1960 and 1990 probably in 70s. :P
