Guten Abend,

Weiß irgendjemand, was er treibt?

bluedeancarcione it's been exactly 10 years since that rainy April afternoon whence I took up my ukulele, donned my keyboard suspenders and, guided by boredom and mila narcissism, played a Warren Zevon song for all the Internet to hear. for whatever reason, such simple act of bad showmanship snowballed (the tiniest of snowballs) into almost 10 years of concerts, assorted performances, and many more low-quality YouTube videos.
I played on top of a car on a busy street.
I played at Musikmesse, and I was probably the worst musician in Frankfurt at the time.
I played at countless marriages, and I hear some of the spouses are still together to this day.
I played as a novelty act at a wooden floor showcase event, and I still wonder why.
I played, mostly for drunk people, at many country festivals and celebrations.
I played in many a club and a pub and a bar, and only one time right-wing bikers threatened to kick my ass if I didn't play Johnny Cash.
I played a lot, I fucked up my vocal chords, and had lots of booze and almost enough coins to make a living. but of course, as in any other good buildungsroman,
The Real Treasure Was the Friends We Made Along the Way. my deepest and sincere gratitude goes to all the kind people who enjoyed my music and my stupid YouTube videos all over the last 10 years. I love you all, and I regret nothing.
