Mid-east hatte das Ding schon im letzten Winter auf der NAMM vorgestellt.
Bei UkeHunt gab es danach ein interessantes Interview,

Leider hört man von den Resonanzsaiten kaum etwas, aber cool ist das Gerät trotzdem! Der Sound ist schon sehr sitar-ähnlich.

I\'m vegetarian so Indian culture is a big part in my daily life.

Huch, das Forum wird langsam multisprachlich, und Bärndt war auch wieder am PC, obwohl er Verbot hat...er hat gestern mit einem Musiker aus Belgien gechattet, der nicht Ukulele spielt, sondern die hang drum...und er hat Schokolade und belgisches Bier gefordert. Das kann man nicht einfach so machen, wenn man nur ein Bär und keine Spottdrossel ist!

Ich habe gedacht, dass Ukulelespieler manchmal hawaianisch singen, weil die Uke doch in Hawai so berühmt ist, und wenn man dann also einen Sitarukulelenbastard hat, kann es irgendein indischer Dialekt sein, und dann ist ja auch noch chinesisch möglich, wegen dieses Bastardinstrumentes:

@dberlin: I\'m certainly used to Indian names but the \"Danish\" really did catch me off guard this time!  hehe  Good move to stick to \"Dan.\"   I will seriously buy one of those steel string sitar-ukes when it comes out in the USA from the Mid East instruments place. I\'ve got plans for it!  Also, I\'ll be recording an original song this week called \"Sitar Lights\" and I imitate the Sitar on my custom Brüko #4!!!  As long as my new PC doesn\'t crash!  Donnerwetter!!!!!!!!!   Also, if you\'re wondering why an English-speaking Canadian is hanging around this German uke group...    WEIL DIESE GRUPPE TOLL UND DIE BESTE AUF DER WELT IST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Es ist zu langweilig für mich in England und Keiner da und die USA.    :twisted:

Since I\'m coming to Berlin in early June to drop by and bother you (hehehe!), it will be interesting to see if Harry Cane still has one.  I\'d just like to try it but I will wait for the official release from Mid East from Florida.   Don\'t worry, Harry.. I\'ll be buying another uke to bring to Winterswijk!

Leider habe ich noch nicht eine Sitar-ulele (wirklich heule ich jeden Tag darüber) allerdings habe ich ein originales Lied darüber getan.   Ich nahm ein paar klassischen indischen Melodien (rags, thats) und  ich ging außer Rand und Band geraten! hehe

Mein Lieblingsrestaurant  ist ,,The Sitar."   Seit 17 Jahre gehe ich da (wenn ich zuerst Student war) und ich habe eben Ihren Sohn meine Fender akustische Gitarre gegeben.     Sie sind wie meine zweite Familie.  Jedenfalls...   hier ist mein Lieder!

Auf Ebay hab ich sie jetzt auch schon gesehen. Ich hoffe aber mal, dass Folkfriends sie demnächst auch anbietet, da ich den Ebay-Verkäufer nicht kenne.

Ich hab das Ding schon in der Hand gehabt.

\"nice\" kann abhängig von der Bedeutung auch mit \"bel(et)a\", \"plaĉa\", \"afabla\" oder \"agrabla\" übersetzt werden. Kommt auf den Kontext an.

BTW - leider war meine Sitarlele Schrott, weil sie unmöglich zu stimmen war.  Die Stimmwerbel aus Holz waren Schrott.
